SWE, the Society of Women Engineers at Rensselaer, champions gender diversity and inclusion in engineering and STEM. Through networking, professional development, and advocacy, SWE empowers women engineers, fosters innovation, and inspires future generations in the field.
WHO ARE WE?
The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) stimulates women to achieve their full potential in careers as engineers and leaders, expands the image of the engineering profession as a positive force in improving the quality of life, and demonstrates the value of diversity.
SWE at RPI promotes leadership, professional development, and networking. We host various development and professional events by inviting companies, hosting study sessions for our members, and providing members with an opportunity to attend the SWE conferences.
